In this video, I am going to explain how you can easily unlock the Staggering Feat Bronze Trophy in Final Fantasy 7 Remake by dealing 300% damage to a staggered enemy. This is really simple, but we need a couple of materias and abilities to make Tifa pump that stagger number to 300%.
The first thing on the staggering build is the Purple Pain gloves for Tifa. These can be found in the Midgar building inside a purple chest in the main lobby, accessible by doing the monkey bars.
The key thing about these gloves is the True Strike ability which grants an increased stagger damage bonus.
The second part of our Tifa setup are a couple of materias. These are not 100% necessary but are just to bulletproof the whole thing.
Skill Master Materia gives you a Large ATB increase when using 3 types of commands,
ATB Stagger Materia grants a large ATB boost on staggering enemies. I use 2 of these just in case Tifa doesn't have her 2 ATB bars full yet, so she can be the one to do the stagger and then fill almost 2 full ATB bars.
Last one is the ATB Boost Materia that can work in case none of the other things worked by doubling your actual ATB so you can do more actions.
Final part for the setup is using two essential shortcuts:
The first one fot unbridled strength which will raise your ki level allowing you to have new abilities with the triangle button.
The second one is for the True Strike that gives a stagger bonus. I bind this to the triangle button so that way I'm not pressing different buttons and just focusing myself on that single button so I don't mess up.
Now, with all that in place, I'll explain how all of this works in action.
Tifa's ATB bars are full and I take control of her to stagger the boss. Don't mind the animation, you can just start with the sequence so you don't lose time.
Perform a True Strike. Stagger meter goes up to 190%
Perform a second True Strike. Stager meter goes up to 220% and your ATB bar will be depleted.
Press triangle once for Tifa to unleash the Omnistrike. Stagger meter goes up to 240% and your ATB bar is half full.
Press triangle again for Tifa to use Whirling Uppercut. Stager meter goes up to 265% and your ATB bar is almost full.
Final triangle press to use Whirling Uppercut again. Stagger meter goes up to 270% and your ATB bar is full again.
Finally, perform another True Strike to get the stager meter to 300·.
If you are having trouble I guess you can get a little bit of extra help from Aeris by using Ray of Judgment so she can add up to 20% more of stagger but just keep in mind that this move costs 2 full ATB bars.
And that's it, that's how you do 300% stagger damage in a very easy way, you just need a boss fight, a little bit of practice and you will unlock the trophy.
