The powerful Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG), which has powers to suspend or expel members from the 54-nation grouping, has urged the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) to act immediately to ensure a credible count and tabulation of votes cast on March 02. The group in a statement on Thursday said if it becomes necessary, it would convene an extraordinary meeting to discuss the situation and explore appropriate options.
