COVID-19: Hundreds may starve in Jaipur after administration warns against free food distribution

More than 600 hundred people stranded in Jaipur risk starvation as administration warns the group of volunteers distributing food packets to them against it. The Rajasthan administration has reportedly asked the volunteers to not distribute food to such a large gathering and warned that if anyone is later discovered as COVID-19 positive, then the committee would be responsible for the same. The directive has resulted in the volunteers discontinuing free food distribution until further notice by the authorities.
