The spread of coronavirus appears to be slowing in parts of Europe, with Spain and Italy beginning to ease lockdown restrictions and France announcing that it will do as well. In Spain, factory and construction workers were allowed back to work, while in Italy, certain shops will be allowed to reopen.
In France, the lockdown has been extended until May 11, but after that, schools and nurseries will begin to open.
