Well, I ain't no Xena... Nor a Sikh warrior. The chakram or chakkar is a unique weapon from India, a throwing quoit (sharpened metal ring). It is said to have been used with a rather exotic method, by spinning it around one's finger to build up momentum, then releasing it forward.
It can also be thrown like a sharp frisbee, or vertically like other throwing blades, which is a lot easier. This video is not about the historical background but rather the practical aspects of it. How difficult is it to use? How stable is it in flight? Will I cut myself with it? :)
