If you employ a non-licensed waste carrier YOU can receive a fine of up to £350. You can check that a waste carrier is registered on the Environment Agency's website or by calling them on 08708 506 506.
As for the unlicensed waste carriers suspected of fly tipping we CAN and we WILL seize your vehicle… this one we seized in Houghton was packed out and could have been destined to a field or beauty spot near you!!
