In our top story tonight, the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses says 80 per cent of businesses in the country are closed or partially closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Mike Drolet reports, Justin Trudeau is aware of their problem as money dries up, but warned if they reopen too soon, it could come at a greater cost. Jennifer Johnson has the latest from the U.S. where protesters took to the streets on Saturday in their bid to reopen the economy, but it’s a different story in other states.
