Leona Kingscholar is a third-year and the leader of Savanaclaw. While he has great magic powers, he doesn't like using much effort, and constantly appears lax and leisurely. He's the second prince of his home country and acts arrogantly towards everyone.

The name Leona comes from "Leo" which means Lion, alluding to Leona's origins. Kingscholar comes from "King" and "Scholar" referencing how Scar became king and was very intelligent.

The "scholar" portion of his last name is a reference to "Scar," and a pun that only works in Japanese: in Japanese, the "スカ (suka)" portion of the names are the same.

Leona's Unique Magic is King's Roar. A reference to the Disney Jr. Show Lion Guard.
