As a long time consumer of music, I often see musicians struggle to build interest in their music. They seek advice from their favorite artist(s) or industry professionals which is inspiring, but doesn’t translate into sales. As a person who buys indie music, I feel musicians should be reaching out to the customer more and not to other artists. Here is my take on it.
