No Greater Time is a collaborative music project created by a group of Trinidad and Tobago’s most celebrated musicians. The song features over 35 artists ranging from calypso legends David Rudder and Tambu, to the inimitable Ella Andall, to our contemporary soca stars Kees and Destra, and our youngest soca and calypso monarchs, Voice and Aaron Duncan. Inspired by the 1986 calypso classic, “Now Is The Time”, the Trinbagonian response to “We Are the World”, #NoGreaterTime aims to deliver a message to unite people across the country rallying our citizens to collectively create a more peaceful, prosperous and unified Trinbagonian society.

Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Where are we right now
How we end up here today
Tell me who is to be blamed
And does it matter any way
Take a look around
Open up your eyes and see
Now's the time to make a difference
Be the change you want to see
Do you remember a time when we used to love yeah
And with a strength in we heart we rise above yeah
So what will it take to recapture
Now that we face a new chapter
Come on my brother my sister
The heart ah d matter's we all need each other
Let's do this together, yeah
(Pre Chorus)
Together we aspire, together we achieve
Often times I wonder, is it something we still believe
(Chorus)
We bless the world with harmony
There's no greater time for love, no greater time for peace
Be what we know we're meant to be
There's no greater time for love, a light for the world to see
(Verse 2)
The mighty rise to meet their challenge
Yeah we stand and we fight and shall not fail
Now's the time for action
Tell them we ready now come what may
So let we choose to love yeah
And side by side we will overcome yeah
Standing firm in defense of d future
A whole generation to nurture
So come let we show dem d power
Of people together
If we work as one then victory is ours
(Pre Chorus)
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
There's no greater time than now
To truly respect each other
There's no greater time than now
To bring a nation together
There's no greater time than now
To live in love as the order
Cuz if not now then when
And if not us then who
(Spoken Word) Idrees Saleem
Bands look much better when we band together than the
bands on mothers bellies
Together, only the red on the flag becomes redder
And the only band we’d see is the band across the flag if
any, we’re ready
And together we can move the clouds from grey to fine and
make sunshine
T&T, there’s no greater time than now
(Outro Refrain)
Show me how to live
Show me how to love
Show me how to get there
One way
One way home
One way
(repeat)
(Rap) Rheon Elbourne
We having love fi ah century
Overflowing our hearts never empty
Never let evilous people tempt me
Got to keep my heart pure if I want to endure
Now me see it clearer than 20:20
Cause meh doe wa end up inna penitentiary
Rather teach the youths in elementary
If yuh doe wanna fall then you got to hold on no matter what
(Rap) Inzey
So show me how to live
Show me how to love
Show me how to be above it all, yeah
Cos imma make it one day
So show me
Show me
(Spoken Word) Deneka Thomas
Hear our cries for change, urgent
As if our oesophagus were made with the same cast iron
pots our grandmothers hammered to shape, with their hands
Hear our cries for peace, sure
Like how everyone of those pots will be passed down from
generation to generation
We are resilient
We are here to last, and at last
We cannot be broken
