It's a beautiful Saturday morning, and I'm going to let you all in to my unrefined process of making and testing out my first reasonably successful short scrape oboe "reeb!" I think there is a lot of potential here, if I can figure out how to free it up without ruining it... Thank you to resources I have used, such as Graham Salter's book "Understanding the Oboe Reed," and the expertise of my friend Heidi Farrell, as well as some reed "models" that have come my way from Germany and Poland.
