Santosha - Inner contentment is a hallmark of a yogi

Santosha - Inner contentment is a hallmark of a yogi Santosha means contentment. Contentment should not be confused with laziness. One should learn to be contented with trivial things in life. The seeker realises the happiness is not dependent on outer things, but it depends on the framework of the inner mind. But when it comes to reaching out to others one should not be happy and must be ambitious to give more and more to others.
Person with inner contentment is calm person one and one without tripti is a restless person.
Lord Shri Krishna says:
But those who rejoice in the self, who are illumined and fully satisfied in the self, for them, there is no duty.
Whatever we do we must be happy. We must distribute the happiness. A doctor is selling the happiness in the form of treating a patient. A bank manager is selling the happiness in the form of serving the customer. A software person is selling the happiness by fixing the bugs. A yoga teacher is selling the happiness by teaching yoga. There many yoga type are available in the market and on the net. Why you all are participating e-yoga from across the world it is because you are after the happiness. If I and not in bliss and contented I cannot distribute the happiness. If you want a lasting customer experience, you must sell the happiness.
This is a must for a customer service job. When everyone right from the receptionist to the CEO do the customer service this way, the company undoubtfully flourishes. If you want your family to flourish, implement this at your house and see the result for yourself.
The practitioner of yoga is a high achiever and leader and quality of Santosh is a must to succeed in the path of yoga.
