This is a special song for us in a season of much fear, unknown, loss and disappointment. We're thankful that we can sing Scripture and allow the Word of the Lord to shift the atmosphere of our hearts and of our lives.
The lyrics hold special meaning to us because it is the Aaronic blessings in Numbers 6:24 - 26 of the bible. Every Sunday, our pastor would declare this over us during his benediction prayer in church. It's a promise that we hold to and one which we know that God is faithful to fulfil.
So we'd like to sing this over us and over you!
We added an interlude with a spontaneous tune that's not part of the original song.
The melody and words came out as we worshipped the Lord in that moment.
