Can India Boycott Chinese Goods? And A Tough Lesson On Capacity Building Tensions are high between India and China in the aftermath of a violent face-off on 14 June between armies of both the countries at the line of actual control (LAC) in Ladakh. Twenty Indian troops were killed while more than 40 Chinese casualties, including dead and injured, were reported.

In India, calls are rising for the boycott of Chinese goods. And the demand is coming not just from citizens on social media, it's also been made by the Confederation of All India Traders who have listed 450 imported items. RSS affiliate Swadeshi Jagran Manch also renewed the demand for an economic boycott of China and Chinese products.
