Singles can form 'support bubble' with another household - UK COVID-19 briefing

Boris Johnson announced changes to the lockdown measures from Saturday that will allow single adults living alone in England to see one other household indoors without social distancing.

Singles will not be able to switch the household they are in a 'support bubble' with.

In the daily coronavirus briefing, the Prime Minister said the new rules do not apply to those in the 'shielded' category.
