Splash Mountain to Princess and The Frog Retheme Still A Far Off Dream

I'm gonna call Disney's bluff on this one. They announced the retheming of Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland into a Princess and the Frog log flume attraction has been in the works for about a year. I provide my commentary on this Disney news announcement and my connection to the Disney movie Song of the South.

Disney Parks press release about the change does not set any timeframe for beginning or completing this project. Here is their announcement:
