I got a mystery opal out of my box which shows some promise but will it turn in to anything useful. ALWAYS WERE AT MINIMUM A RESPIRATOR WHEN CUTTING ANY STONES and water is a must, not only for minimising dust, but it also helps in reducing heat in a stone to avoid damage.

Dremel 3000 with attachment handpiece. Then just a standard dremel chuck in the end for easy of adjustability.
