About this video: In this video, we show you exactly how to download and install Large Ore Deposits in Minecraft 1.15.2. What is Large Ore Deposits? Well, it is a really cool mod that adds all kinds of different rare but super massive ore deposits to your Minecraft world. They are designed to give you extra motivation while mining and exploring as they also give hints and clues on the surface of the world that there is a massive ore deposit hidden somewhere in the ground underneath.
Large Ore Deposits also works automatically with most mods meaning it is perfect to combine with other mods that ores to Minecraft. However, even if you don’t have modded ores added in, you can still find all of the vanilla ores in large deposits by default. There are tons of different things you can configure with this mod, and you can even can a lot of different things using commands, which is very unique for a mod. Thus, without any more delay, here is how to add Large Ore Deposits to Minecraft 1.15.2!
The first step of getting Large Ore Deposits in Minecraft 1.15.2 is actually downloading and install Forge. You can find our in-depth Forge tutorial in the description above. When you click it, that will take you to our website where it will walk you through every single step of getting Forge in Minecraft 1.15.2.
After you have Forge setup, we can download Large Ore Deposits. You can find the official Large Ore Deposits download file in the description above. Click that link and it will take you to the Large Ore Deposits download page. Look at the right hand side and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.15’ section. Under that you will see a version of Large Ore Deposits. Click the purple download button to the right of this version. Your download will then begin after 6 seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.
Repeat the above process for the ForgeEnderTech mod as well. You can find the Forge EnderTech download link in the description above. This mod is needed in order to get Large Ore Deposits working.
Now, we can finally install Large Ore Deposits in Minecraft 1.15.2. This is super easy. Just hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. The Run application will open. In the text box within the Run app type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. The Roaming folder will open. You will see a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you will see a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one! All you need to do in order to install Large Ore Deposits in Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag-and-drop Large Ore Deposits and ForgeEnderTech into this mods folder. It’s as simple as that!
You aren’t done just yet though. You still need to open up Minecraft, click little arrow next to the play button, select ‘Forge’, and click ‘Play’. Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Large Ore Deposits installed!
