VIDEO SUMMARY
CREATING AN UNCOMPLICATED MORNING SKIN CARE ROUTINE. Taking care of your skin is important in ensuring you look your best and keeping acne and pimples at bay. But in order to do that, you need to have an effective, quality skin care routine in place; here’s how.

00:00 All the Basics Without the Fuss
When it comes to creating a morning skin care routine, you want one that works for you and is uncomplicated and easy to follow. By having one in your day-to-day routine, you’ll look younger, feel more confident and it shows you take care of yourself, skin and body. 01:05 Stay Hydrated
Before getting into the routine itself, you should be drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Doing so keeps your skin hydrated, healthy and moisturized, and staying hydrated helps remove and prevent dark circles. 01:44 Our Level 1 Skin Care System
When it comes to products, the Tiege Hanley Level 1 Skin Care System has everything you need for a morning skin care routine. It’s uncomplicated and easy to implement into your daily life. It comes with a face wash, exfoliator scrub and AM and PM facial moisturizers, so you can stay persistent to keep your skin as healthy as possible.

02:23 Start with Warm Water and the Face Wash
First, rinse your face with warm water. Warm water helps open up the pores so when you use the face wash, you have the best chance at removing all the dirt and debris. Next, apply a nickel-sized amount of the face wash and rub it onto your face in circular motions and then rinse the wash away.

02:52 Finish with the Exfoliator and Cold Water
Next, use the exfoliator scrub which you should only use twice a week. Over exfoliation can lead to irritation and inflammation, so plan out your skin care routine so you only exfoliate every few days. If it’s not exfoliation day, simply finish off with cold water which helps close the pores to prevent dirt and debris from clogging them.

03:21 Pat Dry and Moisturize
Lightly pat your face dry with a small towel and apply the AM moisturizer. Not only does the morning facial moisturizer keep your skin hydrated, it also has SPF 20 so your face is well protected from the sun throughout the day. 03:36 Apply a Beard Oil
This, of course, only applies if you have facial hair, but beard oil keeps your beard healthy and hydrated as well. Plus, if you’re struggling with beard dandruff, this is a great way to combat and prevent it.
