The classical model of education has been around for hundreds of years, and has long been the method of educating lots of the strongest minds in history, like Plato, Socrates, and even our very own founding fathers. This model of education is designed to walk kids through virtuous learning, while instructing them to cultivate through the stages of knowledge, knowing, and wisdom.
Classical education and learning emerges as a larger awareness of the moral imperative to others and the ability to create adjustment and opportunity in the planet even when confronted with level of resistance and obstacle (Weeks, 2018).
In the classical model of education)
o Middle- Reasoning/Understanding (arguing for the sake of thinking and composing distinct thought, arguing rightly)
o Afterwards- Rhetoric/Intelligence (creating new applications, becoming unbiased thinkers and communicators)
Our Mission
Family Church's mission is to help families find out and pursue God's design.
We believe that the implementation of the classical model of education best supports this important objective. We are humbled, yet positive, by what God is doing in our school.
